Flowers Hospital Announces Terry Bain as Director of Surgical Services

Dothan, Ala. (April 24, 2017)— Flowers Hospital is proud to welcome Terry Bain, RN, MBA, as its director of surgical services.
Before joining Flowers Hospital, Bain served as executive director of surgical services at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss., and has also served as director of surgical services at hospitals in Florida, Louisiana and Arizona. After receiving his associate’s degree in nursing, he completed a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and a master’s degree in business administration. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Additionally, Bain served as a sergeant and scrub tech in the U.S. Air Force and as a lieutenant, staff nurse and head nurse with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.
“Terry brings invaluable experience to our hospital, and we are looking forward to the positive impact his leadership will bring to our operating rooms,” said Dan Cumbie, Flowers Hospital chief nursing officer.
Originally from Excel, Ala., Bain has two children and enjoys running, playing golf and fishing in his spare time.
