Current Visitor Guidelines
- Inpatient Areas:
- Two (2) caregivers are allowed per day for COVID-negative patients.
- Visitation is restricted for COVID-positive patients.
- Families may request conferences with staff and providers. Please ask a staff member for more details
- Intensive Care Units:
- Visitation will be allowed between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
- Up to two (2) caregivers are allowed per day during the designated time period.
- Additional requirements are in place for visitation for COVID-positive patients. Please speak with a staff member for more details.
- Emergency Room:
- One (1) caregiver is allowed per COVID-negative patient ages 18 and older.
- Two (2) caregivers are allowed for patients ages 17 or younger.
- Visitation is restricted for COVID-positive patients.
- Additional restrictions may apply based on certain circumstances, such as the facility's COVID-19 status.
- Caregivers are encouraged to be immediate family members or significant others ages 18 and older
- Caregivers for patients who are here for a short period of time, such as lab or radiology visits, are encouraged to wait outside when possible due to limited waiting room capacity and social distancing requirements.
- Caregivers must wear a face covering at all times while in the facility.
- Caregivers will be screened upon entering the hospital and on a daily basis if the caregiver is staying with the patient overnight. As recommended by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, any individual with symptoms or who has been advised to self-quarantine because of exposure will not be allowed to enter
Visitor Entrances:
Access to the hospital is limited. Visitors may enter the hospital through Outpatient Registration or the Doctors Center during the hours listed below. Please note that visitor entrance to the hospital, with the exception of visitors for emergency room patients, will not be allowed outside of these hours.
Outpatient Registration Entrance:
Monday through Friday: 4:45 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Doctors Center Entrance:
Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Emergency Room:
24 Hours (limited to ER visitation only)
Additional Visiting Policies
- Visitors must wear shoes at all times.
- Flowers Hospital is a tobacco-free campus, and smoking is not allowed. This includes all electronic smoking devices such as e-cigarettes and vapors.
- Ask the patient’s nurse before bringing in food from outside facilities. Diet restrictions may be necessary for appropriate patient care.
