Flowers Hospital Announces Tyrone Baker as Employee of the Year

Flowers Hospital is proud to announce that Tyrone Baker has been named the 2024 Employee of the Year. This peer-selected award recognizes Baker’s dedication and commitment to the excellence of his department and the hospital.

“Tyrone demonstrates eagerness to assist in any capacity, showing a genuine enthusiasm for learning as much about his role and the hospital as he can,” said Jeff Brannon, Flowers Hospital chief executive officer. “He frequently receives praise from other departments for this exceptional service. Tyrone is an asset to both his department and to Flowers Hospital.”

Baker is an area service technician in Plant Operations and began his career with Flowers Hospital in January 2023. He was among 120 employees recognized throughout the year for excelling in various standards of performance and was chosen by his peers as Employee of the Year out of 10 other finalists in the award program.
