The aim of the program is to graduate Surgical Technologists who can function in the operating room. To reach this goal, we combine classroom instruction and excellent clinical experiences.
We currently enroll classes each year in the fall. The course lasts 11months and is divided into six quarters lasting 7-9 weeks each. There are scheduled breaks during the year. Calendars for the current year are available from the Program Coordinator.
Students are required to maintain at least an 80% average. Extra tutoring is available upon request of your instructors.
Our graduates are employed at hospitals in the operating room and cardiac catheterization labs, in Surgery Centers and in physician offices. Some graduates take advantage of traveler agencies to explore employment opportunities across America.
Surgical Technology is an ever changing career opportunity. There are currently openings for STs in many venues.
