The Hand Center

The Hand Center is an affiliate of Flowers Hospital. It was established to provide unmatched, state-of-the-art rehabilitation to patients with upper extremity pathology. The Hand Center includes a team of professionals including an Occupational Therapist, a Physical Therapist and a Certified Hand Therapist.

At the Hand Center, patients are evaluated and treated upon referral from a physician. Direct, open communication between physician, therapist and patient plays a vital role in successful outcomes. The Hand Center appreciates and understands the special needs of the industrial community and provides work station evaluation, job site evaluations, return to work programs, FCE’s and impairment ratings. The Hand Center is continually dedicated to improving the level of expertise by seeking new techniques and developing new programs in an attempt to be on the leading edge of hand therapy.
