Labor and Delivery is a specialized unit designed to take pregnant parents through the labor, delivery, and recovery process. Highly skilled physicians and nurses are specially trained to care for the unique needs of the expectant mother and her unborn child. Complete with 6 LDRs (labor, delivery, and recovery rooms)and 1 Cesarean Section room, our Labor and Delivery Unit utilizes a state-of-the-art computer system for charting, surveillance, and the archiving of fetal monitor strips.
Obstetrics
Flowers Hospital offers a complete array of maternity services designed to meet the needs of the entire family. A complete outline of all maternity services including prenatal care and education, sibling classes, and labor and delivery facilities is available by calling the Public Relations Department.
Fetal Monitoring
The Fetal Monitor detects and displays the fetal heartbeat allowing the physician and nurses to carefully monitor the unborn child during pregnancy, labor and childbirth. This effort is made to protect and preserve the well being of both the expectant mother and her unborn child.
