What to Bring to the Hospital
You may wish to provide your own pajamas or gown, slippers and usual toilet articles. You may also opt to bring with you to the hospital personal stationery, books, magazines and a small amount of change for personal use. Other toiletries may be obtained by asking your nurse.
When you come to the hospital, we ask that you bring a list of the medications you are currently taking with you upon admission to our hospital. If a list is unavailable, we ask that you bring your current medications from home. If you bring your medications from home, we will identify them and then ask that you have someone take them back home, or we will gladly store them in the Pharmacy until your discharge. This will help ensure that you receive the proper medications while in our facility.
Please leave your valuables at home or send them home with a family member. If this is not possible, please deposit those items in the hospital safe. The hospital cannot be responsible for loss or damage to valuables retained in your room. Items such as dentures, eyeglasses or contact lenses should be kept in protective containers when not in use.
