Admission Requirements

Applicants must provide documentation of a high school diploma or equivalent. There is a $20.00 non-refundable application fee.  Entrance exam must be passed with a fiftieth percentile or greater in order to interview for admission to the program.

Job requirements:

• Work is of medium to heavy demand.
• May require long hours of walking, standing and sitting while on duty.
• Frequent reaching, handling and fingering of instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Visual and audio acuity necessary.
• Mobility and strength to move quickly, stoop, bend and push heavy objects.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers.
• Stamina to work under physical and/or mental stress.
• Physical tolerance to work under one or more adverse conditions.
• Ability to organize and set priorities to complete work load in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ability to maintain cooperative and effective interpersonal relationships with hospital and medical staff.

Good health is required due to the nature of the work environment. An initial physical and drug screen will be performed at no expense to the student. A current shot record will be required.
